Incinerate (move) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokmon encyclopedia

From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.

Incinerate (Japanese: やきつくす Complete Burn) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM59 in Generations V and VI.

Effect

Generation V

Incinerate inflicts damage to all adjacent opponents. It destroys any Berries held by the hit Pokémon. The Occa Berry will activate before being burned up. Berries that would activate in response to Incinerate, such as the Oran Berry or Rowap Berry, are destroyed before they have a chance to be consumed.

Incinerate cannot destroy items held by a Pokémon with Sticky Hold. Symbiosis will not activate when an item is destroyed by Incinerate. Items destroyed by Incinerate cannot be recovered by Recycle, Pickup, or Harvest.

Generation VI onwards

Incinerate's power changed from 30 to 60.

Incinerate will now also destroy Gems.

When used in a Max Raid Battle, Incinerate fails completely, without even dealing damage.
