Route 16 (Japanese: 16番道路 Route 16) is a route in central Kalos, connecting Route 15 and Lumiose City. The route is also known as Mélancolie Path (Japanese: トリスト通り Triste Path).

Route description

Route 16 is a winding route that connects Route 15 in the northeast to Lumiose City in the west. The route is laden with golden yellow leaves which may conceal items or Trainers. On the far northeast end, near the path to Route 15, is an entrance to the Lost Hotel. In the southwest, near the gate to Lumiose City, lays a small pond that's popular among Fishermen. Next to the pond is a small house called the Fishing Shack, from which the player can obtain a Super Rod.
