The Rock Gem (Japanese: いわのジュエル Rock Jewel) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It is one of the Gems and is an unobtainable held item in Generation VI onwards.

Fling will fail if the user is holding a Rock Gem.
Generation VI onward
When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Rock-type move used by 30%, and is consumed after use.
