Spore VS Sleep Powder | Bulbagarden

Firstly thank you very much my best friends for good answers

I'd say that Hypnosis is the Ember to Spore's Flamethrower. Sleep Powder is more like Fire Blast, powerful when accurate, but misses at crucial times.

Well, the problem is that sleep powder was so important attack when ash in kanto, but now I don't know what happened to this attack in the anime, and in game. It is looks like that it is disappeared forever. Furthermore, the important from sleeping attacks is how many times you able to use them before using ether to restore the energy, and the percentage of not miss. For example, I do use Yawn, and love this attack even if you need to attack again before it happen.

Trick Room team can definitely utilize an Adamant Breloom with Spore and Focus Punch.. but run the same thing with Sleep Powder and it's not even close.

My friend, the important of these attacks is how many time it works, not to which pokemon it can work. I do think that Spore, sleep powder, yawn, dark void, and hypnosis are mostly same in the job, even if i do love all of yawn, sleep powder, and dark void I would like to add that a couple of the main problems that Spore has is that all of the 'mons that can learn it are slower than molasses in January. Also, those that can learn this move are all grass-types, & as far as I know, it's one of the weakest types in Pokémon.

Did I mention that the move itself is impossible to breed onto other 'mons as well?

The problem with spore is that it s copy paste from sleep powder if you ask me my friend. I do think that we should have one attack that sleep the pokemon for grass. At least give spore for bugs. But I didn't understand this " Can learn it are slower than molasses in January".

I have a other question, should those move stop working during hail, sandstorm and rain?
Or if your oponent or you use Tailwind, should they get backfired?
The game needst to start working more logical.
How can powder moves work during rain? or how can powder moves go to oponent if the strong wind is against you?

Well, glad to read this great idea my friend so thank you.

Yes, this idea is good; because it is a time to see that the weather can affect these attacks so the game become more difficult.

Spore is a far better move. I don't even like Sleep Powder, since I get too many misses with it.
Talking about 75% accuracy powder moves, I'd rather use Stun Spore over Sleep Powder.

Hi my best friend, aand glad to see you again in my thread as usual. Well, I do have a habit with sleep powder when I was child as the time of yellow, and red; so I do love sleep powder.
But, glad to see you ideas.

Spore has a cooler name, but I've used more Pokemon that learn Sleep Powder, so I suppose I'm biased to it myself. So I'd say I prefer I Sleep Powder for than reason.

Well the sleep powder is much cooler name than spore my best friend hahaha, but i agree with you for Sleep Powder is much better than spore If one's more reliable at 100%, what's the point of even liking the 75% one?
75% is hardly reliable enough for usage in VGC.

Have you learnt about probability in school yet?

Anyways, Sleep Powder doesn't even have more PP.
Since they have the same PP, there's absolutely no merit of Sleep Powder over Spore.

Are you talking with you me when you said about probability. If you talk with me, then yes I do learnt about it. Anyways, I do prefer sleep powder even f the accuracy is 100% of 75%.

That... actually makes sense. And is kinda funny.

Yes, I do agree with you, and That... actually makes sense.

Sleep Powder's distribution is considerably better. Spore is limited to only mushroom Pokémon, and only Breloom/Amoongus can use it reliably.

Good answer my friend, and I like it. Sleep powder's s distribution is considerably better
